DRAW PATTERN LINES

Pattern Lines (where the cross sections will be cut) can be drawn manually and automatic (or combined).

manual method

Use MicroStation to draw the pattern lines:

Black lines shown in sample above, these lines must be on unique symbology.

Automatic Pattern Lines: select Applications > GEOPAK Site > Cross Section > Draw Patterns by Station Range:

Fill in the Draw Pattern Lines dialog to draw the pattern lines:

	Job:	The GPK file
	Chain	Select the centerline chain
	Beginning	Enter the horizontal offsets from the chain and the start station of the pattern lines
	Ending	Enter the horizontal offsets from the chain and the start station of the pattern lines
	Increment	Set the type of distance between pattern lines
	Level Symbology	Select a *unique* symbology for the pattern lines
	Click Draw Pattern Lines to draw into the DGN file
